The Los Angeles Angels play the Pittsburgh Pirates live in Apple Immersive tonight at 6:30 p.m. Eastern, making it the second of four immersive MLB broadcasts this season.

The game streams through the Apple TV app on M2 and M5 models of Apple Vision Pro. An active Apple TV subscription is required.

In Spatial Insider’s hands-on footage, the Angels–Pirates game has its own card inside the Friday Night Baseball section of Apple Immersive. Viewers can add the game before it starts. The first broadcast, Red Sox at Yankees, already offers a 10-minute recap or the full three-hour replay from the same page.

The ballpark fills your view

Apple and MLB use multiple 8K cameras to capture three-dimensional video across a 180-degree field of view. The camera positions bring viewers close to each at-bat, the dugout, and plays along the outfield wall instead of keeping the action inside a flat screen.

Paul Severino handles play-by-play, Xavier Scruggs is the analyst, and Michelle Margaux reports from the sideline. The immersive feed has its own commentary, replays, and graphics that place lineups and statistics in the viewer’s space. Apple says the stadium feed remains live during breaks.

Live viewing is available in Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Full-game replays and a package of key moments will remain available on demand in the Apple TV app for Vision Pro.

Two more games follow

  • September 11 at 10 p.m. Eastern — San Diego Padres at San Francisco Giants
  • September 18 at 10 p.m. Eastern — San Francisco Giants at Los Angeles Dodgers

Tonight’s Angels–Pirates broadcast begins at 6:30 p.m. Eastern, or 3:30 p.m. Pacific. The replay and highlight package will give Vision Pro owners another way to enter the game after the live window closes.
