Apple Announces ‘Surprise and Shine’ Event for September 9
Apple has not confirmed its lineup, but reporting points to the iPhone 18 Pro, its first foldable iPhone, new Watches, and AirPods 5.

Apple's next special event will begin at 10 a.m. PT on September 9 at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park.
The invitation pairs a pale blue, glowing Apple logo with the words ‘Surprise and shine.’ Apple has not named the products it plans to reveal.
What Apple Is Expected to Announce
Apple has not confirmed the product lineup. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and Apple's first foldable iPhone are expected to lead the event. The foldable model is reportedly called iPhone Ultra.
Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 are also expected. Gurman's latest reporting says Apple could introduce AirPods 5 in standard and noise-canceling versions.
Apple could also use its biggest fall event to begin a new chapter for the home. Bloomberg reports that an updated Apple TV 4K and HomePod mini are due this fall, while a preview of Apple's first smart home hub is possible before its expected release between October and early 2027.
An OLED iPad mini and M6 MacBook Pro are also planned for later in the fall. Those products may get a separate introduction, giving Apple room to keep the September stage focused on iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPods, and a possible first look at its home platform.
The regular iPhone 18, iPhone 18e, and iPhone Air 2 are expected in spring 2027 instead of September. The event will show which parts of the reported lineup Apple is ready to make official.
