XREAL has announced final pricing for its Aura Android XR glasses (opens in a new tab), starting at $1,279, and opened balance payments to existing reservation holders in the United States, Canada, Japan, and South Korea.

The company’s October 7 announcement (opens in a new tab) lists two configurations. The extra $220 buys more memory and doubles the storage.

  • 12GB RAM and 256GB storage — $1,279
  • 16GB RAM and 512GB storage — $1,499

Customers with the earlier $99 Launch Credit or $199 Founder Priority Pass can now finish their purchases for priority fulfillment. Founder Priority Pass holders who complete payment and choose their configuration by October 17 will also receive an individually numbered Founder’s Edition.

XREAL says shipping will begin before the holidays. Its store describes this as a full-payment preorder, with timing subject to production, quality inspections, and logistics. An exact shipping date has not been announced.

Aura puts digital screens and spatial apps over a direct view of the room through a 70-degree see-through display. A separate pocket computer supplies the processing, while hand tracking lets wearers interact with content around them.

Google Play brings familiar apps such as YouTube, Maps, and Chrome to the device. Gemini can use voice, on-screen content, and the camera’s view when the wearer grants access.

For readers who have not reserved, XREAL’s $199 Priority Deposit (opens in a new tab) remains open. The deposit is applied toward the purchase. Balance payments are currently limited to existing deposit holders.
