About the app.

MetalSplatter opens 3D Gaussian Splatting scenes directly on Vision Pro. You can load your own PLY, SPZ, or splat files, or begin with the built-in gallery when you simply want to understand how this newer capture format looks in a headset.

Scenes appear in stereo inside the room with their view-dependent lighting intact. Scale, tilt, and the upward direction can be calibrated for each model, then saved with a preferred viewpoint so the next visit does not begin with the same setup work.

Two-handed gestures let you move through a capture and rotate it without sending the file through an outside computer. MetalSplatter is especially useful for creators checking their own splats, but the sample gallery also makes it approachable as a first look at the medium.
