About the app.
Retrocade turns the room around you into an old-school arcade with cabinets that look and feel life-size. You can place the machines in your space and walk up to them, which makes their artwork, controls, and physical scale feel far more convincing than a menu of classic games.
A compatible Bluetooth controller is required to play. The current lineup brings together arcade staples such as Pac-Man, Galaga, Frogger, Tetris, Asteroids, and Space Invaders, so the detailed machines are backed by games people may already know how to enjoy.
Daily challenges, achievements, and leaderboards give the collection a reason to stay assembled after the first wave of nostalgia. Retrocade is available through Apple Arcade and works especially well for anyone who wants classic games with more presence than a flat-screen menu can offer.

Developer Spotlight
Meet Resolution Games.
The spatial game studio behind Retrocade, Gears & Goo, and Pickle Pro

Resolution Games has been developing spatial games for more than 11 years.
Why Resolution Games built Retrocade
Retrocade is our love letter to the classics, the industry, and everyone who has felt that spark when a quarter drops and a game simply clicks. It is not only about playing old games again. Games have mostly lived as code and pixels, separated from their physical soul. With Retrocade, we can celebrate the whole experience, including the cabinet art, the machines, and the arcade atmosphere that made these games feel alive. You do not just play them. You visit them.
“At Resolution Games, we believe spatial computing and mixed reality are the next big thing in games, and we have been working toward them for years. Pushing the technical boundaries of a new technology brings a lot of trial and error, sleepless nights, and fun along the way. Being recognized with Top Picks for three of our games means the world to us.”
