YouTube for visionOS brings the full signed-in service to Vision Pro with subscriptions, playlists, watch history, standard videos, Shorts, and creator channels. The familiar catalog remains available without treating the headset as a browser-only device.
The player also supports 3D 360-degree and VR180 material that places the viewer inside the recorded scene. Standard video stays front and center for relaxed viewing, while 8K playback is available on M5 Vision Pro when the source and connection support it.
Immersive quality varies widely because creators supply the footage and older uploads may not match newer headset standards. Even so, YouTube’s scale makes the app important both for everyday watching and for discovering how independent creators use spatial formats.
