About the app.

INSIGHT KIDNEY creates a guided journey from the organ’s large-scale anatomy toward its microscopic structures. The detailed model can be placed, rotated, resized, and viewed from every side while the virtual assistant ANI explains what appears.

Visualizations compare a healthy kidney with chronic kidney disease and rarer conditions including aHUS, IgA nephropathy, C3 glomerulopathy, and lupus nephritis. Spatial presentation helps connect disease names to changes that are otherwise difficult to see or describe.

The app is designed for medical education and patient understanding, not self-diagnosis or treatment decisions. It is a useful companion for students, clinicians, and families who need a clear visual starting point for discussing kidney structure and disease.
