Spatial Insider review

Worth Trying

Orbble

Authencity

Experience voice, photo, and video updates as floating orbs you can reach for in your room.

Our take.

A cool take on social updates. Grabbing photo and video orbs around the room feels naturally spatial, the audio works well, and even the exit animation has personality.

Instead of squeezing a social feed into another window, Orbble turns each update into something that feels present in the room.

A feed with a sense of place.

Open Orbble and translucent updates begin drifting around you. Voice, photo, and video posts feel less like items in a list and more like small objects that have arrived in your space.

Reach for an orb to listen or watch, then react or reply while the rest of the community continues floating nearby. Looking and reaching replace much of the scrolling people expect from a social app.

What stood out.

Spatial audio keeps each voice connected to the orb it came from. That makes different people feel located around the room instead of coming through one flat panel in front of you.

The app also understands that small details matter. When you leave, the orbs lose their float and fall to the ground. It is a simple exit animation, but it gives the interface a physical logic and a little personality.
