Red Bull’s Immersive Surfing Film Arrives on Vision Pro October 1
Big Wave Surfing follows 10 elite surfers at Teahupoʻo, Tahiti, in the next episode of the Emmy-winning World of Red Bull series.
Red Bull’s Big Wave Surfing will debut in Apple Immersive on October 1 at 6 p.m. Pacific in the Apple TV app (opens in a new tab) for Apple Vision Pro.
Filmed at Teahupoʻo, Tahiti, the episode features 10 surfers, including Olympic gold medalist Italo Ferreira, world champion Molly Picklum, and Tahitian surfer Michel Bourez. Apple says the film moves from inside the barrel of a breaking wave to the channel beside it, with views of clear blue water and coral reefs.
Big Wave Surfing is the next episode of the Emmy-winning World of Red Bull series. Its first installment, Backcountry Skiing, took viewers into the mountains of British Columbia with professional freeskiers.
Apple first previewed the surfing episode in its September 2025 immersive film lineup (opens in a new tab), with a release planned for 2026.
